Creation process
Billy Bull
Detailing different design options, the artist completes a rough sketch. Every work of art in the Borowski shop starts as a simple sketch.
Heat is the driving force behind every creation. The artist stokes the flames raising the temperature, so the hot process is optimal.
The horns of Billy are the most distinctive feature. Each one is unique in its own way because of the handcrafted process.
The head goes into the fire for final shaping. Once it is pulled out, it is ready for the next stage.
Both artists closely examine the piece. With their attention to detail, each head is guaranteed to be error-free and strong.
With delicate instruments, the artist adds elements to the face. These other elements help bring the piece to life.
The piece comes together in the assembly phase. Gluing each component takes skills, and our artists check each piece carefully.
Billy is complete! Each one is unique, and the process from idea to creation takes skill, precision, and a trained eye.

The Animalia Collection
The Animalia collection includes 5 wild vases created, numbered and signed by Stani Jan Borowski. Each of these exquisite pieces is composed of multilayered clear and coloured glass, using highly sophisticated techniques of both hot and cold glass processing.
The body of the vase is mouth blown and modeled while in a hot state. In the next phase, several fine applications are attached to the glowing item as it obtains its final form. The vase must then cool for hours before it can undergo several rounds of polishing, then frosting. Finally, to complete the object, it is decorated with 24 carat gold.
