In literature, music, and elsewhere, swans are symbolic of grace, splendor, and elegance. Swans are also symbolic of the process of transformation. Hans Christian Andersen’s beloved folk tale tells the story of an ugly duckling who transforms into a beautiful young cygnet. Master artist Borowski demonstrates this perfectly in his transformation of glass into this stunning and useful Cygnet Bowl.

KING & QUEEN
Once upon a time, in a kingdom of glass, a man gave his heart to a woman. “Be my Queen!” he said. “Be my King!” she said. Side by side they lived happily ever after. The end? Not really. People, love affairs and glass sculptures are never identical. In this vibrant and quirky piece, master artist Borowski expresses his love affair with glass, pouring passion and profound skills into the elements to bring forth a stunning work of art.
